While the initial resolution to my problem was good, it created another problem that was not promptly dealt with and created a lot of extra work. In resolving the problem with Outlook all of my contacts were deleted - a large problem. I was not satisfied with how this new problem was dealt with.

I appreciate the extra measures that were taken to help me to feel confident about this transition to the updated computer. I'm happy with the new computer and I would just say that it wasn't easy to have this happen during the first week of school when there were so many other adjustments being made. I appreciate the time that it look to ease me into this new computer. Thank you for understanding!

Nothing but high praise for [CASIT Tech]. [They] solved a problem that the Apple techs here could not, and did it with patience and good humor. In fact, [they] cleaned up a problem they had unintentionally created when helping me with another issue on my iPad. [Their] "user friendly" attitude combined with [their] skill in diagnosing and fixing problems is a winning combination. Thank you!

I am generally a fan and big booster of the service provided by CASIT. But I have now twice had unfortunate interactions with one of your student assistants [...]. [They] repeatedly gave me the wrong instructions when the right instructions would have solved the problem instantly over the phone. When the problem persisted, [they] said [they] would refer the problem to someone on an urgent basis (since I was out of email contact). No one called back by the end of the day, so I began playing around with possible fixes myself. As soon as I put my complete email -- rather than just my user name as I was being instructed -- with uoregon.edu, the problem was solved. In any event, I have not been impressed with that particular assistant. As I said earlier, everyone else has been terrific and I appreciate the service.
