I'm from another department who won't store any eqt., and Surplus was out of speakers, so I asked CASit who happened to have a spare set (old and going to Surplus at some point), so they delivered them to me. You guys are awesome and I wish all the IT services on campus were modeled after you!

While I was not overly impressed with initial comprehension of my question on the phone, once I was contacted by email my question was carefully read and was quickly and completely replied to. My issue was then swiftly resolved. Thanks!

[CASIT Tech] was great, [they] resolved my issues with printing pdf files, address book, desktop hardware, and Exchange migration. The two students who picked up my desktop and brought it back, were very pleasant and helpful.

Thankful to have CASIT available when computer problems arise. The techs do a great job! Just a thought: Would be convenient to be able to dial the tech person or email the tech person directly rather than always going through CASIT once a request is being worked on.

I am not sure if the workflow calls for it but I would request that if an AD permission change is requested and the approver is not on the ticket then they get added and cc'd with the tickets details to give approval.

The Techs are always courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable, even when they tell us stuff we don't want to hear (e.g., your ten year old computer and printer are too old to work well any longer).

[CASIT Tech] really made it happen for me. I was invited to speak at a conference in Sydney Australia but it turned out that I wasn't able to attend. They asked if I could send in a videorecording, this is what [they] helped me to do. [They] met with me, brought over equipment and showed me how to do the recording in a very clear and patient way, then [they] met with me afterwards to assemble the file into imovie and get it sent over to the conference organizers. This kind of activity is quite frequent for faculty, and will only be moreso. We often use skype rather than recording in advance, however with the time difference in Australia this was not an option. I would definitely consider this an essential service for my research and professional activity, and it is obviously very good for the University as a form of outreach. [CASIT Tech] was truly fantastic, patient, knowledgeable and available to work around my very busy and tight schedule. thank you

As usual, CAS IT took care of my issue with expertise, timeliness and courtesy. My first contact, [CASIT Tech], set me up with a temporary fix and accurately explained my problem in order to set up a more complete solution. Then [another CASIT Tech] contacted me almost immediately and did a remote session that resolved everything in very short order. Thank you for your skills and your professionalism!
